Tim Skold's 'dead god' demo tracks info

Six unofficial tracks began circulating on the internet in 2002. These were touted as rough cuts from the new MM album (The Golden Age Of Grotesque) but they are in fact demos by Tim Skold.

The Golden Age Of Grotesque album came out in May 2003 and, of course, none of these were on it, but some people still come across them and wonder who they're by. The singing on the demos does resemble Manson's voice at times but, if you listen carefully, there is a Swedish accent coming through.

The official bbs was over-run with speculation about them at the time and an announcement was posted to clarify that these are indeed Tim Skold's work:

Attention: Dead God Downloaders (post # 1)
You do NOT have new Marilyn Manson demos.

There are no copies of the music out in the wild yet.

What you have are UNRELEASED demos created by Skold. He used them to shop around to record companies. Someone stole them off his tour bus, and released them on the internet. They were rough demos, not intended for release.

You do NOT have new Manson demos.

This is the track listing for a package that is floating around on the Internet:

    01. Don't Pray For Me 04:02
    02. The Point 05:07
    03. Dead God 03:47
    04. Believe 03:22
    05. I Hate 03:34
    06. Burn

THIS IS NOT MANSON. THESE ARE SKOLD SOLO DEMOS. This information came STRAIGHT FROM TIM SKOLD.
