Putting Holes in Happiness
(yes I need to fill this in)Trivia: (or is it?) In March 2003, Manson wrote a journal entry called 'PUTTING HOLES INTO HAPPINESS'. In it, he mentions that same title again: 'The images Helnwein and I created for the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME are accompanied by my essay, entitled: "Putting Holes Into Happiness."
He says he wrote the actual song of Putting Holes In Happiness, on his birthday (5 January 2007), and describes it as 'a romantic-misogynistic-cannibal-gothic-vampire ballad.' And who are we to argue otherwise, indeed.
